FULL LUNAR ECLIPSE..................VERY NICE! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Last Night, those of you who had clear skies and were looking up at the night sky would have witnessed something quite incredable! The Moon was 100% eclipsed by the Earth and was only seen over Africa. This will happen again over Africa as we saw it in another 230 odd years, so this was truly once in a life time!!!
I know that many of my picture crazy friends were out there to try grab some great images and hope that they got lucky. Here are some of the 600 odd images I took last night. Enjoy!

This is how the evening started!!!!

Camera - Canon Eos 7D
Lens - Canon 100mm-400mm EF-L
Aperture - f/10
Shutter Speed - 1/125 sec
ISO - 1600

The next series of images show the start of the Eclipse until full Eclipse was reached at about 21h30, 1 hour after it began!!

And then once the Eclipse was full and everything went dark I started playing! ! ! The large bright spot in the sky is the moon at full eclipse and in most of the following images you can see it sitting in the middle of the Milkyway!

Camera - Canon Eos 7D
Lens - Canon 15mm - 85mm EF f 3.5-5.6
Aperture - f/4
Shutter Speed - 18 sec
Iso - 3200

Camera - Canon Eos 7D
Lens - Canon 50mm EF-L f 1.4
Aperture - f/1.4
Shutter Speed - 10 sec
ISO - 4000

Get out there and keep Shooting! ! !
